Experienced Professional Facilitation

I only went out for a walk and finally concluded to stay out till sundown, for going out, I found, was really going in.

Nature Walks and Workshops

During Wanda McGee’s unconventional nature walks, each person’s life experience is honored. Instead of learning facts about animals, plants and minerals, individuals are encouraged to learn about themselves.  As one participant wrote, the walk “offered a unique opportunity to relate the natural world around us to daily living.”   More about this walker's experience

The technique used on the walk is simple. The result is altered perceptions and new life metaphors that connect us more deeply to our roots. Examples of the types of issues participants have found useful are contained in Wanda's book: Invisible CurrentsNature's Lessons for the Mind and Heart

If you'd like to try your hand at conducting a nature walk for your organization, there's a free agenda at For Facilitators. A nature walk can also be part of a workshop agenda for a wide variety of audiences, such as writers, artists, and facilitators.

Wellness Workshops

Wanda McGee facilitates a number of wellness workshops and presentations. Two of the most popular are Brain Gym® and Touch for Health™. Both help integrate the whole person—body, mind, and spirit. You can experience both Brain Gym and Touch for Health by taking classes or scheduling private sessions. Neither diagnoses or treats medical conditions.

• Brain Gym®

Brain Gym® grew out of clinical studies started in 1969 by Paul E. Dennison, an educational therapist, who was looking for ways to help children and adults who had been identified as learning-disabled. Dr. Dennison’s work resulted in the development of a series of simple and highly effective activities that prepare your brain and entire nervous system for optimal performance in all areas—intellectual, creative, athletic, and interpersonal. For more information, visit: www.braingym.org.

• Touch for Health™

Touch for Health, developed by Dr. John Thie, D.C., is a synthesis of recent Western discoveries and ancient Chinese medicine. Dr. Thie adapted the essentials of Applied Kinesiology (developed by George Goodheart, D.C.) for the use of lay people, in his book, Touch for Health.

After attending just a two-day class, you can start effectively using Touch for Health with yourself and others. By stimulating each individual’s own healing ability, health and vitality are improved. For more information, visit: www.touchforhealth.us.
