Life Energy
Vitality is dependent on energy.
The C&O Canal's Widewater exudes the joyous energy of spring. It is full to the brim, it's vitality fed by spring rains and the run-off from small streams. The water dances and sparkles in the brilliant midday sunshine, reflecting the blue of a cloudless sky. At the end of Widewater, a small overflow outlet, normally unused and silent, is gurgling with the rhythm and abundance of the place.
Points to ponder . . .
- What creates "joyous energy" in your life? What is its source?
- How are individuals and groups in your life affected by high water? Low water?
- How could you change the "water level" of your life? The life of a group?
